I’m Jerry—a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, and Spartan SGX Level 1 Coach. I’m also a Marine Corps veteran, husband, dad, and follower of Jesus Christ. I’ve been in the mud, faced the walls, and felt the burn in my lungs—but in 2024, God transformed my life. He showed me that real strength doesn’t come from muscle or medals—it comes from Him. Now, my mission is clear: help Christians step into their first (or next) Spartan race with a training plan that challenges their body, sharpens their mind, and strengthens their faith.

My Story
I didn’t start as a Christian coach. I started as a Marine, an athlete, and a guy chasing the next challenge. But I also chased fulfillment in all the wrong places.
In 2024, after years of grinding on my own strength, God got my attention. He opened my eyes to see that grit without Him is just stubbornness—and strength without Him is weakness in disguise.
Since then, every workout I write, every client I coach, every Spartan I train for—has been an act of obedience.
OCR Crusher is now under the Kingdom Grit banner because these races are more than competition—they’re a place to live out 1 Corinthians 9:24:
